Putting ‘Agri’ into an Agritourism Business
The recent East Central Monitor Farm meeting followed the theme ‘Putting Agri into an Agritourism Business’.
At the event, guest speaker Sascha Grierson from Grierson Organics spoke to attendees about her experiences with diversifying their organic farm near Perthshire.
Sascha along which her husband Hugh developed the business which now includes;
- An on-farm butchery with produce sold directly online or through local farmers markets
- Farm tours which include a tour around the butchery
- Steak and Lamb tasting experiences within the Farmhouse kitchen
- Burger making experience
